Calling for still life paintings
How about sharing your still life paintings. My style was getting too tight after trying photorealism. So I tried a looser style still life. I used Autodesk Sketchbook Pro for Android on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition). Avocados and strawberries make interesting subjects for painting.

That is amusing. Here is an Granny Smith apple which I then shifted into red. Drew the water droplets one by one using Sketchbook Pro on a Surface Pro 2 tablet. Some of the water droplets look too milky after the red shift, so I will have to redo them. I sent this to apple grower organizations and they really liked it.

Painting this prime rib made me so hungry! I used a blurry brush for blending and coverage, but may sharpen up the green beans and pink meat surface as it looks out of focus.

I've done a series or two of still life modeling and such, but only one digital painting. Here's my white on white. Corel Painter.

I like the thick monochromatic paint. It has a sculptural effect.
I tuned up the prime rib, a little less blurry and more juice cup detail.

It's really beautiful Wildrice. Just to say that I would take a look to the shadows at the bottom.
