Get rid of artifacts (Vert old tip)
This is an old tip but we have many new users.
Sometimes, as just happened to me, I deleted some text but there were red underscores left on the screen from words spell check was questioning. And there are other random operations that leave bits of detritus on the screen.
Press Shift + Ctrl + T to force a screen redraw and to remove the unsightly artifacts.
Re: Get rid of artifacts (Vert old tip)
Good to know. I occasionally get leftover selection handles after deleting or moving an object (usually with very large files). My solution has always been to zoom in or out, or pan it off the screen with the mouse wheel.

Yes I also did the same like Ben, but thanks for the tip good to know
Re: Get rid of artifacts (Vert old tip)
I also use the scroll in and out technique. I had forgotten about shift+Ctrl+T so your tip is handy for everyone :)
Re: Get rid of artifacts (Vert old tip)
Yes, thank you! I've had this happen and never knew about the shortcut.=D>
Re: Get rid of artifacts (Vert old tip)
That's a good tip, Gary. "Detritus" - now, there's a cool word.
Bob.
Re: Get rid of artifacts (Vert old tip)
Thanks Gary. Usually I scroll down or zoom out then back in to fix it.
