Vector shape
Hi, could you please have a short look on the attached shape, is it possible to reproduce it in Xara Designer Pro X?
It was in an .eps file and after the import and clicking on Shape tool, it has only just six control points. Apparently so sounds like a shape in QuickShape tool with 6 sides, but has no idea how to reproduce. Also focusing in the very middle, typically seems like in quick shape tool pulling some control point through the center and producing a pattern there

Re: Vector shape
It is an interesting use folding control points and handles over themselves. Which itself (folding nodes/control handles) is a means of creating negative space inside objects.
Your example is a truly great example of creating clear, not abstract, art. But try it yourself.

Re: Vector shape
I think in such cases especially can be useful to put the shape to Guide layer, where after the angles exactly can be followed in QuickShape tool. That middle mix in the center probably depends on how exactly the handle point was pulled exactly to the center, or rather over

Re: Vector shape
Just played with that star in the center, it seems yes in whatever program that was made, it works with the same logic like the Quick Shape tool

Re: Vector shape
Yes, it is quite simple to create this using the quickshape tool once you understand how reforming the edges of a quickshape works. See this Xar file for steps and then have a play...
