Problem with Dialogue Window Font/Text
I am experiencing an issue that I have never seen before, and cannot figure out how to correct. Somehow the default font/text that appears in all my dialogue boxes in my Windows, i.e., Character (font, font size, etc.), Color, etc. has changed to an almost unreadable Artsy/Curly font. Don't know how this happened and don't recall changing any Preference, or the like. Does anyone have any idea what is/might be going on and how to remedy back to default?? Thanks in advance for shedding any light.

Ouch. I wonder if your default font (and I am not sure what this font is, probably a Microsoft font) got deleted or uninstalled.
You can try a Windows System Restore back a few days and see if this solves the problem.
If not, then undo the System Restore.
Does anybody know what the font used for dialogs is?

Easy to mistake that you were talking about Windows, no?
I'd reckon a Mac support forum might get you the answer quicker than here, which is primarily a Xara software forum?

:o Oops.
Sledger is right. We're mostly Windows users here. A Mac or Apple forum is probably where you will get a better answer.
But my original suggestion is probably correct. IUs expect to find a specific font to use for menus and dialogs. And if that font is not there then the system uses the next font in line which is what probably can even happen on a Mac. :)

This is not a AI problem it is a windows problem. Try this.
Open up your Control Panel.Navigate to Fonts. On the left panel, click on "Adjust font settings".
Click on "Restore default font settings".

Peter, it's not a Windows problem, it's an Apple Mac

More specifically an Apple/Mac problem.
