Mini tutorial: Easy Shamrocks
Every year at this time I wind up doing something with shamrocks in it for someone :) I usually use the quickshape tool to do either 3 or 4 leaved shamrocks. I put together a quick Mini tutorial of my method and as an added bonus I threw in a palette of St. Paddy's Day greens in the .xar :) be sure you have delete unused colours and styles unchecked on the view tab of the options dialogue!
Re: Mini tutorial: Easy Shamrocks
Thanks Frances. I'll look that over in the morning.
Re: Mini tutorial: Easy Shamrocks
Thanks Frances. I hope I get time to do look at it soon.

OK Frances I looked at your tutorial. This is what I did, one like you did and one of my own devising.

Cool Larry! Looks good. The mini tutorial gives you a basic shape. it up to you to use your imagination to add colour and/or texture and use it in some creative way. I like the use of the circular fill in yours.
I hope we'll see more St. Paddy's Day creations here!:)
Re: Mini tutorial: Easy Shamrocks
Frances thanks very much for the tutorial, it is really easy like that :)
Re: Mini tutorial: Easy Shamrocks
You are quite welcome :) Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Re: Mini tutorial: Easy Shamrocks
Great tutorial, the only problem is that shamrock only has 3 leaves.
:)
Re: Mini tutorial: Easy Shamrocks
In my opening post I mentioned that the process works for 3 or 4 leaved Shamrocks (or Clovers) :)
Re: Mini tutorial: Easy Shamrocks
Fair enough, but there still is no such thing as a 4 leaf shamrock. ;)
I'm really not trying to have a go at you, you do a terrific job on here and it's very much appreciated.
