Woah, absolutely fantastic. How do you determine the shadows?
The fighter jocks get all the glory.
Ever do bombers like the B-52, especially the G model?
Awesome, as always. =D>
Love that plane.
Still the Master. Fantastic Grahm
Wow and wow!
I wonder if your image would be more dramatic if you dropped the land mass lower in the image?
Again, masterfully done Gray.
A stomper of a drawing Graham
iagman, thanks. ("How do you determine the shadows?") I do all these plane illustrations by creating a simple 3D wireframe to twist and turn to the angle I want. I can then also get the main shadows for direction, time of day and month. It gives me the basic outline for the subject which is difficult and time consuming to do by hand. Another method is descriptive geometry or plastic models but I like the 3D wireframes. It allows you to draw whatever subject you want.
Thanks Rik, Paul. Larry, Ron.
Gary thanks. Good suggestion, I'll have to play around with moving it.
and just when I thought you couldn't get better, there you go again.....awesome drawing Gray.....
