Hello,
This is a pulley which is a component in Meccano construction kit. My question is how do I join the 2 ellipses to reproduce a brass bush (with a screw at 90 degrees if possible)
I have had a similar problem when trying to draw a car tyre. Any tips would be much appreciatedhttp://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Quit showing off guys... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
The easist way would be a blend from one elipse to the other. You need to redraw the center witht he shading tho...

Thank You Soquil, John, Jens and AndFarr,
I have had a go and here is my effort.
It's OK from a distance but does not stand up to too close a scrutiny. However I should be able to improve it.
Thanks again
Richie
