Hi all,
Got two of my 4 galleries up, in time they will be directly linked to the web site I am building (going well, quite happy, even a tech wrote me and told me that he that it looked AWESOME! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif ) but in the mean time, I sent Steve Newport both links and he could not get them to open in either IE or Netscape but all the other 50 folks I sent them to, so far, so good.
So could you guys take a look at them? If they open let me know and if they don't then let me know what operating system and browser and browser version you are using. May not be able to help but it will give me feed back so that I can ask questions to get a solution.
Thanks very much!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
The Galleries:
Pencils and Paint
Xara Images Gallery
Let me know!

IE 5.5 yes.
Netscape 4.7 no. Text loaded but pictures did not, both thumbnails and fullsize. Links worked.

with IE6 and XP. The net hasn't been working to well. It may be the provider. It seems to be random connection and maybe some transfer rate. Then again, maybe not. Goes on for hours some times. Nothing works the way it should. I check my system daily and have never found a problem. Rich

Heard back from Steve and he tried my advice and it worked for him. Could you try just copying the link shortcut and then pasteing it into the browser and see if that doesnt' work for you??
Just trying to create a work around for this problem!
Thanks much!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

When I copy the link I get:
http://www.ramwolffsworld.com//Xara%...WA_index1.html
notice 2 "//" between .com and Xara and the old
"%20" between xara, images and gallery. I believe that idicates a space. Anyway it still doesn't work in Netscape 4.7.

If so, then would you suggest that maybe go back in and rename the folders that the galleries are residing in to maybe lower case and place an underscore between each of the word breaks?? Do you think that may fix it??
Thanks Gary, Mike, et all...... for takin a look see and for the feed back. I'm learnin', I'm learnin'!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
