I have my page options set to retain properties of the last object or action I do. I find it frustrating with XX5P that my shadow resets back to default after every action. Is this suppose to happen and can I change it somehow?

105 views and not one comment? Is it 'just the way it is'? If so, could someone say that and let me know? Or, does no one know for sure? It'd be nice to have some kind of reassurance one way or the other.
Hi Nancy,
From my experience "that is just the way it is". But was hoping someone would have a work around. :)
How many of those 105 views where your own when checking for a response Nancy ;)
This is normal across all version of Xtreme that I have tested.
'Give new Objects most recent attributes' doesn't effect the default shadow tool settings.
Generally, if you don't receive a response to a post it will mean that no-one has a useful answer.
Posting is not mandatory at TG - sometimes it's better not to post rather than muddy the waters.
Only 1 or none of those 105 were mine Steve. It bolds the heading if someone answers and it was never bolded so I never looked.
I thank you both for answering and I understand your explanation Steve, makes sense. It was just that a while back I'd asked a question or two that never got answered and I was starting to feel a bit ignored when I had a problem (one was a mould tool problem where my object disappeared).
Anyway, I won't take it personal anymore if no one answers....sorry.
Nancy quite a few of those would have been me hoping for an answer, I couldnt post because I had no info, I usually check all queiries as I am still learning the program. I find that if someone has a problem or wants a work around then the answer will appear here.
regards Jon
It is presumably also an attribute, as it can be applied via Ctrl Shift A.
Thanks, John, that makes it clear.
