Problems exporting TIFF with photo adjustments.
I'm frustrated here because I can't export my print job correctly for a flyer job for next week!
Allow me to explain...
I'm adjusting the colour saturation of a JPEG within my design in Xara Pro 5, but when I export my TIFF the colour adjustments aren't in the export.
If I create a bitmap copy of the image with the adjustments within the design - the colours are correct.
I can make all manner of photo adjustments with an image, no matter what the image in the exported TIFF remains unchanged.
Any assistance would be GREATFULLY received.
Cheers
Re: Problems exporting TIFF with photo adjustments.
I've discovered if I export in CMYK it doesn't retain the colour changes or any transparent overlay of saturation either, but if I come out of CMYK export all the colours are present and correct.
How annoying.
Re: Problems exporting TIFF with photo adjustments.
Did you set Options>>View to Edit Local Colors in: CMYK and then enable 'Simulate Print Colors' before editing and exporting to TIFF ?
I find that in that mode the exported TIFF retains the colors as seen while editing in Xtreme.
Re: Problems exporting TIFF with photo adjustments.
This fails to work unfortunately.

Re: Problems exporting TIFF with photo adjustments.
As I say - the method as described seems to work fine for me.
ORIGINAL .TIF
Attachment 64422
ADJUSTED IN XTREME5 then EXPORTED as .TIF
Attachment 64423
Merlinski, just a note - we prefer that images are attached to posts rather than hot linked, this ensures that they are always available for viewing. :)
Re: Problems exporting TIFF with photo adjustments.
My bad, appologies.
Right the result is the same with the method put to me - I did try.
I might re-stress that the results are correct when I export 24Bit colour instead of CMYK - so surely this constitutes an real and actual error within Xara?
