web designer unexpected error 0x80004005
Is anyone having the same problem as me? I installed the program and every time I try and view the site or save it I get unexpected error 0x80004005. I made a quick video to show what I mean. I have submitted a ticket to Xara, but have not replied to my last 3 emails. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled but same error. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

Hi,
what OS do you use? Has your user account administrator privileges?
Re: web designer unexpected error 0x80004005
Hello Johnspor,
Welcome to Talkgraphics.
It appears the dll files required by Web Designer may not have registered correctly when you installed the program.
Please read and follow the steps in the Xara Support article

Re: web designer unexpected error 0x80004005
Thanks for the replies, I have XP sp3 and I am the admin. There are no other accounts except ASP.net limited account. I’ll post the log from the debug. The first is the run without test files the send is the test file exe. Hope this helps.

Re: web designer unexpected error 0x80004005
John I think you should open a support ticket with Xara Support.
From what I can tell reading the two files everything seems to be working as it should. But, I'm not a Xara employee and may be missreading the information.

Thanks and I did open a ticket on 6/8/09. That’s why I was hoping someone here would help. I had one email on the 8th wanting to know more about the problem and then nothing..I keep sending emails, but no reply. I can’t even get a reply that say's were looking into it. Thanks for the looking at the files. I appreciate you taking the time.
