Unable to Place Order for Web Designer
Hi All,
For the past two days I have tried to order the Xara Web Designer from the Xara website but can't. Every time I try I get the following message:
Dear Customer,
We are currently expanding our catalogue of offers. For this reason, the Shop is not accessible at the moment. Please try again in a few minutes. We're looking forward to your visit! Your MAGIX team.
So is it for sale or not?
I have tried six times and have not been able to make a purchase.

All day yesterday and today. Same message, I sent a support ticket, asking why they do not want my money.

No problems here - I am able to proceed right through to the checkout where I can enter my CC details.
Are you trying to buy via one of these pages?

(New customer version or Loyalty version - both carts seems to work fine from here)

I had the same problem today. It may be due to a problem with your Credit Card. I got a call from my Credit Card company who explained a problem and asked me to try again in 15 minutes. I did this and everything went through smoothly. Coincidence ..... maybe.

This sounds to me like the above two users never even got as far as the payment screen.

Yes I did get the same message but it only came up after I had entered all my CC details. The CC company told me that it had got through to them but it was blocked by them until they could contact me. This was only meant to be a possible answer. I hope everything is now working as expected.

yep - on the final button press is a nogo for 3 days now, but I did not receive a notice from cc company and I just got another email reminding me of the May 4th deadline.

I have shot off an email to Xara HQ and asked them to review this thread and if possible provide a response.
