text texture problem
I have an a photo called "lace.jpg" which is the lacing of a snowshoe. I want to use it as the texture of the text.
Problem seems to be with size of the image. I've tried many sizes; none work.
Can somebody please educate me? Here is the lace image and the (bad) result; as you can see, the web lacing is not clear on the text. That is, you cannot see on the text what the brown is.
I've tried many different sizes of the lacing. I've made that image as wide as 1200 px and as small as 10 px.

Re: text texture problem
stixsite,
Thanks for joining everyone here at TalkGraphics! We're glad to have you.
In answer to your question, you need to adjust the 'Texture Scaling' factor to re-size your texture fill. See the attached screen capture for clarification.
IHTH,

Re: text texture problem
Hey, that looks perfect; but, is that available to me, with Xara 3D4?
I don't see it.

Re: text texture problem
I don't know the answer to that one, stixsite. I don't own a license or have access to Xara 3D v4 so you'll have to wait for one of the earlier users of X3D to chime in.
Sorry,
HayTay
