URGENT: exporting logo without having the white backround
I have designed a logo in Xtreme, and trying to export it so I can use it as a graphic for Coffee Cup Visual Designer, but when I do, it always has a white backround, how do I eport the logo with the backround coming with it?!

Export as "True Colour + Alpha" PNG or transparent GIF - What are you trying to export it as now? If it's JPG, then JPG doesn't support transparency.

As Keith said, jpg doesn't support transparency. So depending upon the background of the page the graphic is going on you need to export in a format that does (i.e. png or gif) if the background is an image, or put a rectangle filled with the background colour of your page behind the graphic if it isn't.

Welcome to the Xtreme Conference Speedy Sticks.
If the logo is mostly vector, you could also export it as a PDF file. That way the vector shapes remain vector shapes and will print better than a bitmap (such as PNG).

Ah, yes. I used to work in a place where they had an Assumption Box, you had to put one GBP in it every time you said "well I assumed that..."

Hi
your chosen format will depend on the end use. Everything said before is of course true but bear in mind that Gif is perhaps not the best format for complex graphics made up of multiple colours. PNG is a better format but it's support for tranparency has been slated over the years in particular on the web.
On a web site gif is normaly ok because most screens are 96dpi for print output then again it depends on what/who is doing the printing. Commercial printers willuse any format but out of choice they prefer, psd, pdf etc.

I tried a .bmp .jpg .tif .png and still get the white backround!

When choosing PNG - make certain you set the color depth to True Color+Alpha (as shown)
Re: URGENT: exporting logo without having the white backround
The error message when trying the .png
The picture is not a correct imagefile
Also on the top of the window it says, error in picture.
Oh darn it!
