Odd that Mehdi would cause a crash. I have Vista Premium Home and have had no problems with Mehdi and I use it all the time.

You will find it in the PSplug-ins folder, just delete the folder. In the image below I have deleted mine as I keep my plugins in another folder...

Whenever I test a new filter, I usually just install the .8bf file in a new directory. If it doesn't work, I just remove the directory from the PS Plugins location setup menu.:)
The ones supplied with XARA are apparently pre-Vista. Thanks to a message I found here I was able to download and install newer versions of these plugins and they work fine.
