Xtreme Crash on Update with Vista HP
I am using Xara Xtreme 3.2.4.3017 with Vista Home Premium.
The program has been working fine but today I clicked on the Help -> Update
then a partial blank white square appeared and the program locked up.
An error finally pops up 'Access Violation Exception At Offset 0x0634405f'
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, used run as
administrator and rebooted several times without resolving the crash.
Other functions seem to work without any problems.
Has anyone encountered the same problem?
Suggestions?

I cannot find any references to that specific offset address. A few of questions that may help isolate the problem.
Is Xara Xtreme Pro allowed access to the internet through your firewall?
Is Xtreme in your list of excepted programs for Data Execution Prevention?
Have you recently installed a new application or updates to Windows or another application?
Re: Xtreme Crash on Update with Vista HP
Resolved:
Adding it to the DEP exception list solved the problem.
BTW, I am using just Xtreme and not pro.
Thank you, Bill.
