New here with a basic question

I just bought Xara Xtreme Pro so beare with me in the simplicity of the question. I was watching some of the demo movies. The one about working with Xara Pro and Xara3D used some kind of menu (on the right hand side) to switch between the two, I don't seem to figure out how to get that menu?

This comes up fairly regularly.

What you're seeing is an image of the top left corner of someone's screen, in which they use the standard Alt-Tab key combination to switch between already running applications.

Because you only see the top left of the screen, and windows displays that little box in the middle, it appears in the bottom right corner of the video. There's no shortcut key in Xara or Xara3D that allows you to switch between the two. However if both are running, Alt-Tab will do what you want.

Thanks Odat, that clarified what I was seeing. Sometimes the most obvious things don't come to mind. I was focused on the fact that the two programs are somehow connected :)
