Website Change and Registration Lost
Hi. It seems that once again someone has changed this website
without letting the regular users knowing this. Case in point: I, known
here as "Kman", had been coming here for *years*, and once again,
after this unannounced change, the site did not recognize me as a
legitimate registered person. It was a small hassle -- I had to
re-register -- but still it was a hassle. Why cannot the list of regular
participants be kept and kept accurately? I recall this same thing
happening approx. a year back when the website changed.
I guess the main thing I am asking is that if the website is to undergo
a change, email us so we can be prepared for this. And please keep
your registration records accurate.
My "rant" is over. Thank you.

Re: Website Change and Registration Lost
We moved systems around August 05. It was a long time ago, and nothing has happened since. Users are alwasys welcome to contact us and I will help recover old accounts. All changes we have made have been announced on the site well in advance.
I also don't think you re-registered as you have over 500 posts. Perhaps you just reset your password becuase you forgot it?
Re: Website Change and Registration Lost
No, sir. I did not "re-set my password but forgot"as you say.
I tried repeatedly coming to this website yesterday and each time I was not
recognized as a registered user. After approx. 4 attempts, I did have to
re-register.
No system changes were made on my computer for this to happen, not did I
have problems logging on to ant other website -- but this one. I figured if this
episode ... where the website did not recognize me ... happened to me, it
may have happened to others as well. I'm not crazy, ignorant nor lying; this
did happen.
Anyway I am back "on", here. Thank you.
