Mail Label Project
I saw a Mail Label I liked.... I was going to do in Xara (I do projects to learn about the program & end up with something useful -usually) Anyway, I was doing fine, until (sigh) I got to Shapes and the Adding, Subtracting, Intersecting, Slicing... figure there was something I was doing in wrong order and/or misunderstanding. I ended up going to Illustrator to do; but, would still like to do in Xara, if I post here (jpg and/or .xar), can I get some input, to see where I strayed from accompolishing my aim? Tom

Re: Mail Label Project
Okay (just didn't want to put in the Wrong spot & get 'boped' -a bit tender from another, not so friendly place)
Here we go... the first is a pix of the Finished Illustrator...
2nd is where I got lost in Xara
(ps - I am at cafe this week -mostly every day -no connection at home right now -long story for another/place- soooo, if I don't come right back...)
Thanks Everyonef! Tom

Re: Mail Label Project
Paul has covered this with aplomb. Can't see any problem either with the unfinished Xara project you uploaded. You just didn't finish. Does the following diagram help you at all?

The hardest part about this project is creating an equidistant border around all sides. Here's my method. CLICK HERE.
