Loch Lomond at about 2am in a summer's evening looking up the Loch northwards with Ben Lomond on the right. In Scotland during the summer and in good weather it never really gets dark and we call it the "Gloaming".
In this drawing I have tried to get an oil painting effect. This is my first attempt at this so your crits would be welcomed.

I really like this image. I have wanted to do a mountain scene similar to this and I now feel inspired to try it. I did the golf image, and I uploaded it elsewhere and I just have the link to my image. That is why I was able to get mine up yesterday when you were having problems.

Very nice.
I particulary like the way you placed the ripples on the water. To me, it really enhances the rest of the painting.
I did not realize such a place existed. I will put "Loch Lomond at 2am in the summer" on my Places-I-Must-See list.
