How to let a customer upload a file
I need to add a section to a customers website which allows his customers to upload files to his server, I have used jotforms form service but the files are limited in size. The customer needs to able able to let customers upload files upto 300mb in size (I know, what file generates that size!?) The form for upload needs to be similar to my own site at http://www.sketchprinting.com/supply-design-files.htm
Any ideas?

Does your form resource specify the file size maximum? Do they have an option for larger uploads? This would be the simplest solution.
Another solution is Drop Box http://www.dropbox.com/ I think they accept larger file sizes and they probably have solutions you can incorporate into your web page.
Re: How to let a customer upload a file
Hi Guys,
Does anybody know how I go about putting downloadable PDF's onto my website? I've never done this before and I'm looking to having this as a means of revenue for my business......So how do I go about having downloadable PDF's but once a viewer has paid the fee obviously?
I know its kind of the opposite of what this post is about, but this post was the most relevant one I could find
Any help is much appreciated !
Thanks :)

Hi,
How do you transfer your sit through Web desiner of 3rd party ftp? If done by 3rd party ftp you could make a private directory on you webbsite and upload the pdf to that and when the customer pays you send him/her the download link Ie http://your webspace.com/private/pdfname.pdf.
or something similar.

CoffeeCup Web Form Builder (http://www.coffeecup.com/form-builder/) allows you to set a field as an upload and is easy to use but the issue may well be with your server configuration anyway... see: http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/form...hen-uploading/
Filezilla (http://filezilla-project.org/) is free FTP program that is about as good as it gets. Use that to create a folder and upload your files to it. CoffeeCup Web Access Manager (http://www.coffeecup.com/website-access-manager/) is a snip at $34 and with it you can password protect folders and files as well as set time limits for access.

This post is considerably later than the original posters date but it might be helpful to those that see it now. Checkout www.Simple2ftp.com, it allows very large file transfers via web based interface, you can administer users with account email notifications, keeps files seperate and private from individual users and is affordable!
