pencil drawing from photo

Hello

I recently come into possession of Corel Essentials and haven’t had much time to try it out let alone look around it.

I’ve got a picture (photo) and I want to kind of turn it into a pencil drawing but I want the background white, can anyone point me to a tutorial that would take me through it. I normally work with Fireworks and i dont think that has the capability to do that (or i havent :) or even both ) so i though i'd give corel i go.


Any assistance would be really appreciated
