I was playing around with a shape from the shield collection available on the Xara Xone http://www.xaraxone.com/html/templates.html
My brother, sister-in-law and niece are now on their way back to the UK after spending 5 weeks here in Australia, two of them with us.
He purchased a LUMIX DMC-FZ5 camera for the holiday and made good use of it.
I found out that he is a collector of fridge magnets, so chose some of his photos and created 2 x A4 sheets of magnets for him to adorn his fridge with when they get back. (He might be setting off a few airport alarms though :eek: )
The in-cam processing left some images in need of adjustment, typical were the exposure failings of brightly lit areas with shady areas that the human eye can easily adjust to. This is quickly dealt with in Xtreme using the following method.

Excellent mini-tutorial. Although, I had to add Step 0 in order to try it out. ;)
Another handy technique to add to my photo editing arsenal. I know Xara Xtreme is a vector editor but I also use it for over 90% of my raster needs as well. XX4 is definitely one heck of a collection of 'Cool Tools'.
