Luciandesign,
Totally agree with you
+1 so so so needed... It can be really simple. Open the Object Alignment tool (CTRL+SHIFT+L), Go into Shape Editor Tool mode (F4), select point handles from multiple lines/shapes and align using the Alignment tool.
As soon the shape editor tool is entered (F4) the heading of the "Object Alignment"-Tool should be renamed to "Node Alignment" though, depending in which edit mode you are.
Gee that works! Well you learn some each day.
I can see how this would be useful, but aside from align vertically and align horizontally, would any other of the modes be meaningful?
I second this idea. Align and distribute applied to nodes or groups of nodes would be useful. What about scale and rotate too?
Yeah, that would Be Nice.
The same blob selectors as with the object selector could work with the nodes.

Aligning nodes...sounds cool...
+1
Also copy the curve between two points and paste to the curve between two other points. I think that could be useful too.

So here we are 4 years later. And we still don't have a Node aligning tool ...
I've downloaded the latest Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 9 .... an nothing :( ... Also, it seems Xara is changing names so frequently that I start do get confused.
Is it hard to implement? I really like Xara ... but it misses some basic features that even Inkscape has it.
