Link distortion when export a website
When I upload a site with a link like this:
msnim:add?contact=anycontact@hotmail.com
the link just changes automatically to
mailto:addcontact?anycontact@hotmail.com
the "msnim:" turns to "mailto:" and the "?" signal change your place and the "=" signal just poof! :-O
Is this a bug?
This link is normally utilized to add a msn contact automatically in a link in your webpage, but in Xara Web Designer 6 this just do not work.
Can anyone help me??? :) Or I have to wait for the Web Designer 7 ??? Maybe an update??? If it's free!
Re: Link distortion when export a website
Hi Please can you provide the URL where the problem can be viewed as im unable to reproduce this problem
Re: Link distortion when export a website
FWIW it works correctly in XDP6
If you have no solution for WD6, just edit the HTML in a text editor before publishing.
Sorry it's a bit lame, but I don't run WD6.
Re: Link distortion when export a website
Welcome to TG Vitor,
I'm unable to repeat this in either WD6 or DP6.
I'll repeat bb2's request and ask you supply the URL to the published page.
One thing to try.
Please copy this line to your clipboard:
<a href="msnim:add?contact=anycontact@hotmail.com%20" >YOUR LINK TEXT</a>
Then open WD6, right-click the page and choose: Paste HTML Placeholder
Let us know how that goes :)
Re: Link distortion when export a website
My thought is to check or uncheck the correct web address box above the link box.......maybe this is unchecked and causing it to change? just a thought.

Re: Link distortion when export a website
Yes I can repeat this error in WD5/Xtreme 5 - but fine in the latest version WD6 - also fine in P&GD 6 with latest update.
I can also repeat the error in Designer Pro 6 build 13205 DL - I haven't installed the CD version yet, but I expect doing so will solve it.
