every time I open up the site things are not where they was put ...... they are all moving to the left and down.
Well everything has moved off your attached file Mike. :)
I opened the blank document, then closed it and reopened it and it opens centered on the page for me.
Can you send a screen capture of the page while you are working on it and then a screen shot of the page when you reopen the document?
I have tried changing the fixed option and it makes no diff.

That is odd. It is a pretty minor shift but still there should be no shift at all.
Anybody have an idea why this is happening?
Something is not right ..... I have soft grouped on most of content and made it align centrally.... and save.... then open and its all gone down and to the left.
This is costing me loads of time now and getting frustrated.
I have another site that I saved out as a back up ..... it does the same thing .
I have tried to upload the file but its just over the 10meg.
now every time I open it its shifted a bit more ...... so if I save and open, it goes to left just a little bit each time I save.
Help

Save the file under a new name, delete all pages except for 1 problem page and then save and upload the smaller file. Too hard to know what's going on without seeing an example xar file.
This is the home page ... I saved it and open it and it all moved to the left and down
I just opened the file that I attached and its been saved with the site gone to the left.
thanks for looking at it
Mike
It seems to be the big white rectangle placeholder that is causing the shift when saved/load. If you remove that and save and load then everything seems to stay in place. In general I would recommend tidying up the layers and grouping and even check the page settings which aren't the defaults used for web templates. But if you remove that placeholder it might get you back on track.
Thanks for looking at it Atom..... I know its a bit of mess layer wise but I have been trying diff things and it has resulted in a mess up.
I will check what you mean and report back.
