Can’t change favicon

Hi
I’m running WD10 x64 on Win7 and have problem changing favicon.
Have removed the old favicon in the Name dialog window, and then the picture.
Then inserted a new picture and named it favicon. Still the site shows up with the old Picture as favicon.
Have refreshed the page several times and even restarted the computer, but still I hav the old one.

Can anybody out there help me?

It might be in your system cache. New visitors to your site can probably see the new favicon.

Still, if you would like to give us a link and upload the favicon image we can check it out and let you know if in fact it is correct.
