What happened to the moderator poll - cheeky!
Full size. As it was. I'm sure - know for certain - people are missing some stuff cos of the thumbnails. Been through all this at the time of the change though Gary ;)
Sadler - I removed the post because as I was posting it--first without the poll and then with the poll, I discovered that I had not thought it out very well. I will try to gather my thoughts in my addled brain and repost.
Where? What are you on about? I like thumbnails in my browser but Ilike full size images at a gallery.
@Bones - I'm pretty sure Gary means on the forum
Bones - I am referring to the thumbnail images that are attached in these posts. You have to click the thumbnail image to see the full sized image.Quote:

The question is: Do you like the thumbnail images or would you rather see the full size image when the thread opens?
I voted thumbnails because I have no problem clicking to view an image if it interests me, or clicking a couple of times if it needs to be opened at full size.
However as long as full size images are forced to not be so wide that it screws up reading the text of posts, that's keen too.
I prefer the full size images. I'm sure most of the TG members are going to be reasonable with the sizes, and only post what they need to view the content properly, and not overwhelm the forum. However, having said that if people keep posting images that need horizontal scrolling and long download times, then the thumbnails need to replace them. The other option is for thumbnails for everything over a certain size (as it is now), but make that size much bigger than it is now. Follow Xara's lead and go with 500 pix or so.
I think I'm remembering rightly: images used to be restricted in width and virtual size. Same restrictions as now, perhaps, only we get to see the full image straight away.
