This has been posted in another gallery by mistake, but I'm repeating it here as I would like feedback.
I'm not sure how well the gif reproduces the image but take a look.
It's a small world in a bubble, I love the way you can just keep on adding detail but enough is enough.
Any tips / feedback always appreciated.

[Moderator Edit - Masque provided a higher resolution image and his original image has been swapped to the new one. As whenever this happens, note that many of the subsequent comments in postings may no longer apply. - Ross]

Great fun image, masque.
Saving your image as a JPEG at about 50-70% compression will give more detail and a considerable smaller file size.
Try it.

I saw this wonderful image in the other forum and commented there. Here's what I wrote:
"Wow what a wonderful image! You've done a great job!
The only criticsm I have relates to the highlight on the top of the ball. It doesn't seem quite right. I'd suggest looking at Gary Priester's glass examples in the xara gallery forum and the main Xara forum. (You can do a search)".

This style would work well for a children's book...

It looks like you didn't save it in True Colour. Is anyone besides me seeing a lot of concentric rings as if you didn't have your computer set to True Colour? And Masque, would you consider uploading the .xar file? I'd like to examine your image more closely... It's a wonderful image.

wow ... cool little planet! I could live there easily :>
The rings of colour are because the pic is a gif with a limited number of colours used. Definately deserves a showing as a jpg or png.

Masque, what an Xara debut! Two super pictures.
I'm in awe of your talent. If I rotate this image, will the snow flakes fall ? Neil
