Corel Painter 11 and Windows 7 - installation problem
I very recently purchased a new computer, complete with Windows 7. Now, when I try to install Corel Painter 11, the autorun fails to work. It shows a bit of the installation screen - a small fragment of the Corel logo - but the rest of the installation screen is see-through. No buttons to push or anything, nothing to do at all.
I haven't been able to find much info about what's wrong, and I'm kind of worried that it might be a compatibility problem. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a fix?

I found the issue isn't really a compatibility problem, it's an aero problem. Three possible fixes:
- Disable desktop composition in the aero visual effects.
- Check the disable desktop composition in the compatibility tab.
- Bypass the autorun and just run setup.exe from the CD.
All of these worked for me, I was having the same issue.
