I like No.5 and No.1 most.
No.5 is fresh, crisp & has a playfulness that is fun without being too cute. I can imagine it working really well in published marketing materials. Nice use of that font; curvy 'hill' line is cool too.
I like the tactile nature of No.1 and can imagine it being produced effectively in stone for the development's entry markings (ie gatepost kind of thing).
I'd like No.4 better if the words had just one bitmap fill. I find those two fills distracting in that they seem to compete with each other.

Great designs, yet again! I like the first one best. However, I was thinkin of an idea while lookin at all of them, use it or not I don't care, but this is what I had in mind.
Use the design of #4, only make the "Anasazi Hills" in the shape of, well, hills. And use the rock texture of #1 for the lettering. But I love the running guy and the sun.
Either way, most all of them look really good!

Hi Gary,
Great designs. I like 1 and 7 the best.
Steve, the "running man" is actually Kokopelle (sometimes spelled Kokopelli) the hunchbacked flute player. He appearently was a person that traveled extensively as he is depicted in many of the Native American artworks and oral histories around the United States.

I really like #3 the best--really really like it!!! Kokopelli very nearly enticed me to the southwest...powerful music he plays!!!
Great work as usual!!!

I'd vote for #6. We've all seen highway signs warning us of the potential for animals ahead, but I've never driven on to see any animal for which I was forewarned. Having that... whatever jumping off the sign conveys the message that there really are some of these animals ahead. Twisted logic, I know, but, hey, I'm an accountant.

I like #3, then #1, then #5, then #8. #3 has the best Southwest look to it.
Are you testing different spellings, too, or are there two possibilities?
I like the look of "Anazazi", but I thought the correct spelling was "Anasazi".
Excellent spread of logos!

#3 is the one that stands out for me. No other. This is bright and cheerful. But looks right for some reason. Has a very Southwestern 'feel' to it. #8 conveys this 'feel' but I don't care much for the design.
#3 is the winner in my book

Hi Gary,
this time I really can't decide on one design.
#1, #3 and #5 are my favourites. I especially like the 'tooting guy' .
Is this a special symbol of/for the Anasazi ??
