Being ignored by Xara - How do I reinstall software after a motherboard burn out?
Can anybody help?
I am a legitimate licence holder of 3 Xara products. All purchased in 2015. Web Designer 11, Photo and Graphic Designer, and Magix Movie Maker.
On Tuesday my laptop motherboard burned out. I need to reinstall the software I own onto a new laptop.
I have the download links in emails from Xara to download and reinstall on my new laptop, but I am not able to deactivate the previous installations of software that were on the laptop that burned out because it cannot be repaired.
Can anybody let me know if I am able to reinstall the software products that I have licences for on my new laptop? I imagine if I try to Xara will not let me activate the products, because I haven't deactivated the previous installation?.
Xara seem to be ignoring my ticket request.
Does anybody know how to contact Xara UK directly? or any way of speaking to a human? or any way around my problem? I am a legit owner who has suffered an honest PC failure.
Cheers..

Not sure about Magix Movie Maker, but the Xara products can be activated on two computers. So if you only had installed them on that laptop you can install and activate them on the new one.
If you already had installed them on a second computer you will have to wait for support or create a new ticket.
