How to embed PHP code

We love web designer 10 premium and have been able to include javascript etc. in the WD10P generated files using placeholder tools. We need to do the same with php code. Can anyone share the best practice for embedding php into the generated files. We can manually edit and add php code into the WD10P files but that would be counterintuitive to using the WD10P template design process.
Because php, json, jquery, MySQL, etc, are so prolific in web design, I am in hopes someone else has already found the proper process. Any help would be appreciated

Best practice is to avoid it if at all possible :D

If the PHP generated content is of a fixed size then it should be quite happy in a placeholder Iframe. Other than that, if the generated content is dynamic in size, then I would create a simple HTML page with the PHP content sandwiched between two Iframes. One containing a Xara created page for the header and another for the footer. That does limit the design possibilities.

Once you get to that stage though you might as well code the whole thing.
