I only use my IP provider's webmail . It has 2 advantages All the garbage is not downloaded to my computer, and I can access it from any computer.
Oh and I occasionally use G-Mail.
Hi,
I'm using poppeeper
Little program that can read the heads on the server.
Gives you new mail notification
You can select the mail you don't want to download and remove
instantly(from server)
It also can get your mail from webmail and imap accounts as well
Hans
I only use the ISP's webmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo. Like Judi said, I dont get the garbage and I can access from any computer with internet service.
I read my email top to bottom, left to right. :D
I use both web-side email (hotmail & gmail) and client-side (outlook)
:) :) I use MAILWASHER. You can get rid of all the crap before you download to Outlook Express.
Lots of exotic methods above - how do you all find the time?!
I use Outlook 2003 - combined with SpamAssassin running on the server before my PC sees the email, Outlook's own Junk Email filter sees to it that less than two spam messages a week make it to my Inbox.
As a creature of habit, I use Netscape Communicator (last available in v7.+) I truly enjoy designing my own stationery for E-mail.
Since my ISP has a strong and customizable spam/virus filter in place, no such miscreants reach my inbox. Whew!
I DL it... if I don't like what is in the header.. in the trash it goes... Never even open 90% of "email". Just select everything, then deselect what I don't want and hit delete. Takes less than 2 minutes to review 500 emails.... and I only see what I want, but don't have to worry about a stupid program tossing out something I need.:)
I only use web-mail such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail. These types of email accounts are safe and handy.
