What you can do with just two shapes
I put this one together to show what you can do with just two shapes. The background is done with the gradient tool and the XP image is done with the extrude tool. It never ceases to amaze me what you can do with the tools in Xara. After Gare finishes the tutorial on 3D extrusions, You will understand how to do your own. Also, when the tutorial is complete, I will make this file available for you to download. It will be interesting to see what all of you come up with.

You've got it nailed. Some day I've got to take time to learn to use that 3D tool better...

I think its a useful tool to make some the parts on your car really pop. BP used it in a lot of his drawings. Exhaust pipes and other extrusions. its a useful tool indeed. If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to help.
