Re: Error Message
Hi Joe,
Welcome to Talkgraphics.
If you uninstall then reinstall Web Designer that should correct the problem.
You could try unregistering the EMFFilter.dll then registering it using regsvr32. This will require opening a Command window and using DOS commands to navigate to the folder when the dll is located.
Are you well versed in using a command window (DOS command prompt)?
1. Open a command window
2. Navigate to the location where you installed Web Designer.
This is normally C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Web Designer\Filters
3. At the command prompt type regsvr32 -u EMFFilter.dll
If things go well you should see confirmation that the dll was successfully unregistered.
4. At the command prompt type regsvr32 EMFFilter.dll
If things go well you should see confirmation that the dll was successfully registered.
5. Open Web Designer to verify the error message does nor does not occur. If the error still pops up then you will need to do an uninstall and reinstall to fix the problem.

Re: Error Message
If you aren't comfortable with using the command line, there is a freeware GUI utility to register/unregister ActiveX dll/ocx/exe files called Emsa Register DLL Tool, just google it. ;)

Re: Error Message
Joe it sounds like all your dll files may not be registered properly. By correcting one it allows the next one in line to trigger the error.
Since the problem occurs after you have been using the program for awhile it may be something has removed the registry entries.
Have you perhaps run a registry cleaner program? Sometimes those type of programs can remove valid registry keys.
You may need to reregister all the dll files.

Re: Error Message
I figured out when this error thing started. I tried dragging video files into my web page to see what would happen. Thus the error messages. Is there a way to click and drag video into the page?

Re: Error Message
Not that I know of Joe.
You need to use a placeholder for video.
