Answering your questions in order; Yes, No and No.

Hi welcome
yes you can use xtreme for comics -- but you will need to know how to draw, the program will not do it for you....
assuming here you mean the Marvel etc kind of comic
but there is one member here who has probably drawn Rowan Atkinson [Blackadder] in xtreme already, and if he hasn't he may well do now ;)
I draw comics with xtreme all the time and many others do too! there are some functions of xtreme that are similar to draw and PS.
Welcome Woodwater.
Xara Xtreme is a vector drawing application. It is similar to CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator. In many ways it is better.
Xara Xtreme can do many Photoshop jobs and has a photo editor.
Many users create comic illustrations. Bob Hahn, Zeb, Leon Gancalves and Paul Soderholm, and Dave Cockburn. And there are many more.

anyone knows this software for comics?
I wonder if i should get it even after purchasing xaraextrem, which i got now??
I've read about Manga Studio but haven't tried it (I am tempted though). But it's merely a tool to speed up the production process, it won't draw the comics for you, and it won't make you an artist either!
With little work you'll be able to do the same things in Xara Xtreme: you make your own template, download and install a couple of cartoon fonts (many great fonts are available for free from for example http://www.blambot.com).
The procedure is then to scan your sketches and trace them in Xara, or block out the colors if you have final inked hi-res comics. And you could use my line-art to clip art guest tutorial (http://www.xaraxone.com/guest/guest62/) as well.
And if you want to draw comics but don't feel that you have the skill, then I suggest you search amazon.com for books about drawing techniques.

As you already have Xara Xtreme, it might be best to get up to speed with it to see if it is what you need for your type of cartooning. Many artists here use Xara Xtreme, pen and paper and a scanner,
or just Xara Xtreme to make their artwork, you may find you do not need the additional outlay of another program. Then again... it's only 50 bucks. :)
You might try looking at Alien Skin's Snap Art Filter as an enhancement to your cartooning in Xtreme instead of Manga Studio. It creates really cool halftone effects.
