Minimal Poster August 2013
Harvey - Elwood P. Dowd makes friends with a spirit taking the form of a human-sized rabbit named Harvey that only he sees...
...the idea is: MAXIMUM thinking - MINIMUM drawing.
So, if you were designing a Film Poster to promote Harvey, what would be your minimalist idea?

P.S. I saw Harvey 50 years ago and I can confirm he was an invisible white.

Harvey was a Pooka http://focusfeaturesmedia.com/upload...185b1/x950.jpg And I could be wrong but Pooka's are not fond of carrots. You're thinking of the rabbit stereotype created by Buggs Bunny. ;)
Re: Minimal Poster August 2013
After 50 years, I am allowed a little stereotyping. Perhaps here my pooka is making the carrot inedible as per reported agricultural lore. Be grateful I didn't suggest Frank in Donnie Darko!

Chaps and Chapessess,
Here's my first go at any sort of competition or friendly little 'task' so be gentle...
I remember seeing 'Harvey' when I was young and loving it - I've seen it many times before since and still love it.
I don't know if anyone reads Empire but from time to time they would ask a graphic artist [apologies I can't remember his name] to redesign films posters, most of them were great and this little idea appealed to me in the same way.
Here is my go I tried to keep it very simple [this took about ten minutes to make using shape building] but still encapsulate the theme of the film as simply as possible.
Anyhoo as I said be gentle!
Cheers
David

Nice work, David. And no carrots. ;))
Re: Minimal Poster August 2013
So what's in the bottle? I bet it's carrot juice.
