Some images are being cropped when rotated.
Hi
I've created 9 images with the same width and height in another program. I copy them into XDPX and start rotating them into the final position. Some of the images rotate 90 degrees correctly while others with the same resolution are being cropped as if there was rectangular mask:

Re: Some images are being cropped when rotated.
Your are not rotating the image you are rotating the Bitmap Fill of the Shape (rectangle). You probably have created a clipped photo.
Ensure you select the image with the Select Tool and the Show Fill Handles is not active (third button in on the Infobar). It might also help if the Aspect Ration is locked.

Re: Some images are being cropped when rotated.
Xara frequently finds a better way to handle something that is not always the way we like to handle something.
This might also be caused by Smart Transform.
When you select a photo/bitmap we now have smart handles (the circles). These may be helpful to some. As Acorn suggests, with the Select Tool enabled (the arrow pointer) click the Selection Bounds Handles icon to just have the normal bounding box handles. If you place the cursor inside the corner handles, the arrow changes to a diagonal arrow and you can drag and rotate the image (instead of rotating the rectangle around the image).
Another new way of doing things many of us would prefer not to do, is Smart Transform. This may also be cause the problem you are experiencing. Right click on the little lock icon and if Smart Transform is enabled, click once to disable and see if this helps.
