Xara Photo & Graphics Designer 7 Review -- PC World
Quote:
Xara's photo-editing tools leave industry standard Adobe Photoshop in the dust.
That's a line from a review in the September 2011 issue of PC World with high praise for for the product, suggesting the professionals might be better off with the Xara product.
A more detailed version of the review is at PC World's website.
By the way, I recently purchased a product from Magix, the owner of Xara. I discovered the Magix website is marketing Photo & Graphics Designer 7 as "Magix Photo & Graphics Designer 7."

I think someone else posted a link to this as well.
My only comment is, Are we surprised? ;)
Re: Xara Photo & Graphics Designer 7 Review -- PC World
I just went in and posted a quick review, because I really hate it when complete fools give a one star rating to a great program, just because they wish all software were free, and gently presented, wrapped in rainbows, by trained unicorns.
Xara is beyond value for money. When you consider what it can do, it is quite humbling that the price for the professional versions is still so low. I refuse to walk away from someone's giving it one star. Anyone who is making a good living from Xara, or having a lot of fun with it, might want to express their own positive views, too?

Review done, naturally a 5 given. The review now shows a 4 star rating to date.
Re: Xara Photo & Graphics Designer 7 Review -- PC World
A review in a recent C't issue described Xara Photo & Graphics Designer 7 as a decent photo editor with vector options that could be used to create business cards. We have gone up in the world since Magix bought Xara.
