Re: Photos on Layer plus SEO
Hi Rob
Not too good. :(
When naming images omit the spaces. i.e. filename="hayabusa2" not filename = "hayabusa 2" - ( filenamespace=space"hayabusaspace2" )
Add alt element text - Web properties >> Image Tab >> Image Caption
You can also add title element text - Web properties >> Mouse-Over >> Pop-Up Text
With the page as it is the search engines will not find anything related to Hayabusa or 650f
Re: Photos on Layer plus SEO
Thanks a ton Drwyd,
IF I don't ask, I'll never learn,
Therefore if I name the images with with alt text and or Pop-Up Text, it should be ok, bearing in mine these are on a Pop-Up layer.
Another question while I'm here, can I save or export just 1 layer so it can be imported into another .web
Cheers
Rob

Yup, they should all be visible to search engines.
Code:
<img class="xr_ap" src="index_htm_files/hayabusa.jpg" alt="hayabusa" title="hayabusa" onmousemove="xr_mo(this,2,event)" style="left: 173px; top: 246px; width: 424px; height: 319px;"/>

Re: Photos on Layer plus SEO
Drwyd you have been very helpful many thanks,
Just to keep the post alive, the one other question from the original post is:
"is it possible to start the slideshow running as soon as the photo layer is shown"
I'm sure there must be some code to put somewhere but I'm not big on code.
Thanks to you all for your time
Rob

Pop up photos can be set to auto sideshow. Web Properties >> Image >> options
Doing it from the layer will need two clicks
