Does anyone know why the color picker in cmyk mode acts silly?
Hello,
As we all know one can use the color picker to get a color from one shape onto the next.
Whenever in HSV mode the color picker will help choose a color from one shape to the next and the color will stay the same.
But I noticed that when I use the color picker in cmyk mode, it tends to not drop the same color onto my second shape. It never stays the same. Why is that? is there something im missing?
Something extra I must do to get this to work right?

Rather than use colour picker, try copying the shape you want the colour from and using paste attributes to the new shape.

word of caution - copy attributes will copy all attributes, not just colour... something to be aware of
if you want to use cmyk mode, make sure you set this in options on the view tab under 'edit local colurs in', and not just switch on the colour editor which otherwise only changes this on the fly
edit - or to put it another way - if you leave it set on automatic in options/view in will keep reverting back
