What went wrong with my publish - images aren't showing
This was my first try with the newest version.
The page can be seen at www.bobbyharris.com/goldstreet
I have attached my xar file with this post
Everything seems to happen OK,but most images aren't showing even though the page seems to be functional.
Thanks in advance!

How did you publish?
Your /index_htm_files/ folder is missing on the server.
Try republishing from Designer Pro 6.

I didn't to the file menu. Nothing special

The index_htm_files folder has to be published to the same directory as your index.htm or index.html file.
The HTML documents look for that folder for your images, style sheet, and other items that are needed for your website to display properly.
How are you getting your files to your web server?
Steve's suggestion is for you to use the Publish feature in Designer or Web Designer
Re: What went wrong with my publish - images aren't showing
Sorry. Phone's auto text feature kicked in on my reply.
I used the file > publish feature
I'll try it again later from another PC and see if that works.
So far I like the additions that are included and the dark interface is growing on me.
Re: What went wrong with my publish - images aren't showing
I finally had a chance to look at the FTP site and the index_htm_files directory is there.
Is there something special I need to do within Xara?
If the site is in a subfolder on the server do I need to manually point everything to there?

The file publishes correctly when I publish to a folder on my desktop. So this is not the problem. And all of your links are working correctly.
I wonder if you are publishing to the right directory on your server?
Many web hosting companies have you publish your files to a specific folder in your directory. Sometimes its public_html or in the case of Network Solutions, my ISP, it's a folder called htdocs/
Could this be the problem?
Re: What went wrong with my publish - images aren't showing
Hi Gary,
Thanks for looking.
I took my main domain, www.bobbyharris.com and made a simple 1 page site with 1 line of text and 1 picture.
The text was fine, the pic doesn't show.
Now I'm getting an error that says "The connection with the server was reset".
I've only tried this stuff from work and it's a new job. Maybe they have ftp stuff blocked or something.
I'll have to try from home and see if that solves the issue.
I never had an issue with XXP5, and I'm guessing it's a similar process for publishing.
Re: What went wrong with my publish - images aren't showing
I tried using FileZilla just now and that didn't work either.
Maybe it is a work related issue after all.
Re: What went wrong with my publish - images aren't showing
Sounds like it. Perhaps when you are at work, you should do whatever it is they are paying you to do. ;)
