Just upgraded to XDP7 because, hey why not? Anyway, it seems like when I have Snap to Grid turned on, it doesn't apply to placing Guides, though it seems to work fine for other stuff (lines, objects, text, etc). Was this by design?

Hmm. I just tried it with Snap to Grid enabled and the lines snap right into place.
I wonder if your Nudge Size has anything to do with it? Mine's set to 1px.
Maybe it is the Magnetic Snap Radii
Guidelines will snap to the grid for me, but they won't snap to the center of the page.
Everything else conforms to the grid (including the cursor indicators on the rulers, see #1 on the attached), but the guides slide around as if snap to grid is turned off (#2). All of the options are set to defaults, except the origin point on the Grid and Rulers tab.

Installed XDP7 on my home PC as well, and can confirm that I'm getting the same behavior on both machines.

Dunno Ben, I just tried it on my machine and it works as expected.
It's not a huge deal, as 99% of the time I use the guides as a visual aid only, and snap objects themselves to the grid. It was just unexpected behavior on the part of the program.

Ben, don't forget that you can right click the guide with the selection tool and set it numerically. HTH
