you are right this is a misunderstanding I am sure, the correct default shortcut in xxp is shift+f5 as was pointed out later on in the original thread

d is not assigned to anything in xxp by default - and was used together with f [also unassigned] as an example for setting up a function in xxp shortcuts utility
