Line corners, how to change them?

Hi, i have the following problem with xara pro 5:

i have drawn a symbol from lines which has very tight angles, just similar to a triangle, so if i draw a triangle with the quickshape tool, then set the object color to be transparent and set the line with to something really big, lets say 48 pt, then the corners of that triangle are nice and sharp.

but when i use the pen tool, which i have to and draw the triangle by clicking on every corner and then closing it, if i switch to fat lines, its becoming a 6-corner object, because the line ends are not nice and sharp, they are more trapezoid, how can i get them to the same behavior as with the quickshape tool?

hope i described it good enough, no native english speaker, can make screenshots if something is unclear.

Select all control points with the Shape Editor Tool (F4).

Open the Line Gallery (F12).

Change the Join to Round Join or Miter Join.

The Line Gallery (F12) will solve your problem. Look in the Help file for 'Line Gallery'.
