Error Reading myfile.cdr file
I'm working with CorelDraw 9. I've been working on something for two months, it is 987Kb.
Just when I was finishing the project, the file became corrupt.
It upens up to 40% and then I receive the message "Error Reading myfile.cdr file".
I tried importing it to a new cdr, it gets 74% done and then gives me the error message. When I click on accept, I receive an error message that says that it cannot import an empty document. I can see it in the preview box, though.
I need a Corel programmer that could maybe open the file code and repair the problem.
Can you help me?
Re: Error Reading myfile.cdr file
Look in the same folder where the cdr file is to see if there is a backup of your file.
In the future, if a file is important to you, do an occasional Save As and add the date to the end of the filename. And make backups to an offline storage like dropbox.com or ondrive.com

Re: Error Reading myfile.cdr file
Click “Start” located at the bottom of the screen and then click “Computer.” Windows Explorer launches.
Navigate to the C:/Program Files/Corel/Programs/Draw folder.
Double-click the .BAK file that matches the file name you are trying to recover. Your file launches in Corel Draw.
Click “File” from the top menu and then select “Save As.” Select “Corel Draw” in the “File Type” field and click “Save.”
Moreover in case your .cdr file is hardly damaged, you make use of (link removed by moderator) CDR Open File Tool
