The Norman Spencer Gallery
:-O I have just noticed that the host for the Gallery of Norman Spencers Xara Art has gone, which is a real shame.
For those who didn't know Norman (the Flying Scotsman) and follow his posts as member 'Parahandy', he was one of TG's jollyest and kindest senior members! He had a penchant for drawing mostly old cars. He didn't consider himself an artist or any good with software, infact he once said he almost got rid of Xara Xtreme because he was useless with it. However, he kept at it and with encouragement from the members of TalkGraphics he very soon developed his own style and pace to become one of our most prolific Xara Artists at Talkgraphics.com. It was great to see his talents grow in such a very short time.
Sadly Norman was taken from us in 2008 however through his art, his memory lives :)
The Parahandy Picture Parade can now be seen here.

Re: The Norman Spencer Gallery
Thanks for taking over the hosting of Norman's work Steve :)
Re: The Norman Spencer Gallery
Thanks Steve. It is good to see Normans drawings all together.
Re: The Norman Spencer Gallery
This is a nice little memorial for someone who enlivened Talkgraphics with his enthusiasm and his readiness to comment and encourage others.

Thanks, Steve. Norman was a real gentleman.
Re: The Norman Spencer Gallery
Those are absolutely fantastic pieces of art, Beautifully done. It would have been a great pleasure to have known him, thank you for posting.
Re: The Norman Spencer Gallery
Norman was one of a kind, full of generosity, humour and of course, talent. He embodied the spirit of talkgraphics, and we are all poorer for his passing. Thanks Steve for giving us access to The Parahandy Picture Parade.
Saludos,
Bob.
Re: The Norman Spencer Gallery
Thanks Steve for hosting Norman's pictures. They are wonderful works of art.
I echo Ontos' sentiment - it would have been a 'great pleasure to have known him'.

Re: The Norman Spencer Gallery
It's hard to believe he's been gone since 2008. I also enjoyed his posts and his interactions with others. He was a wonderful member here and did amazing things with Xara. Thanks for the gallery.
