>>>>>>>>>>>>>Error from XaraX<<<<<<<<<<<<
file "...*.xar" cannot be loaded because it is a renberable EPS file...
Why?????????? http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
I very often use this clipart whith my work.

Hello Zeroo
This is a known problem with Xara X1 and the problem is being worked on.
In the mean time, if you still have an older version of Xara, open the clip art image in an older version and save it as a XAR file.
Then open the XAR file in Xara X1.
Hope this works.

Thanks Gary
I'm already doing the same - it's worked, but this way very difficult and require more time.

I just received this reply from Xara Tech Support:

quote:
We had an issue with Corel Xara 1.1 Files which could not be opened in X¹ but this was fixed. I have just confirmed this by importing the clipart from the 1.1 disk into Xara X¹
I know Xara X¹ doesn’t allow you to open Clipart from Corel Draw 7 but unsure whether the problem is being investigated for the current release.
From this posting, it sounds as if he is speaking with reference to CorelXara so if the customer downloads the latest build from Latest Download or installs from his CD (if he has received it) he should not have difficulties with the import of Corel Xara files

So this should make your life easier :-)
