Here is a family portrait that I'm working on. The picture was taken inside an apartment during a holiday get-together. The picture was cut out using Xara along with the color corrections. The photo background is from the Xara gallery and the frame is based on one of the Xara tutorials. Xara is phenomenal!
Very nice family portrait. I especially like how you included the four legged members of the family. :)
I've been working almost fulltime in Xara Xtreme this year, and I couldn't be happier. I challenge myself to see if I can completely design the project in Xara and not have to take the images into Photoshop for completion. I can get it down to adjusting a shadow on the final image. Or sometimes I leave an edge exposed, but no complaints here. Well, here is a few project murals I've been working on.
I thought I recognized that frame. :D
Hi gwpriester, are you the one that created the tutorial for the glass frame? If so, I want you to know that I love your work and it's because of that tutorial that I got involved with doing vector work in Xara. Please let me know if you are the one that created the tutorial for the glass frame so that I can thank you personally for your contribution.

PS A family photo would not be complete without our four-legged friends. They are a big part of our lives.
Here is another picture based on the same technique. I have been working on putting in reflections. I love the way the Xara works with reflections.
Here are some metallic rings that I created in Xara extreme. I'm starting to figure out how to develop three-dimensional images.
Something I'm working on lol
this is my first foray into xara xtreme in quite a long time... just doing quick conceptual sketches of my graphic novel idea about a beautiful one eyed, three hooved deer named "twig"
